Explore Orchids!

Join us on a visual journey through the natural beauty of our orchid collection and the wonder of the flora of Mesoamerica, home to many of the world’s most beautiful orchids!

The people of Mesoamerica have been domesticating and discovering plants for thousands of years, including some of the most important plants we use for food today.

As you explore, you will discover and learn about how some Mesoamerican societies used the plants in their environments and how we at the Garden cultivate and use them today. From food to medicine to beauty, there is so much to discover.
