The Best of Missouri Market returns to the Missouri Botanical Garden this fall with more than 80 vendors offering handcrafted items, locally produced food, and much more. 

This beloved fall festival features food, crafts, native plants, herbs, custom jewelry, handcrafted items, and more. 

The Kid's Corner features fun fall activities for families including farm animals, crafts, and a “pumpkin patch” with sustainable pumpkin decorating led by Perennial. New this year: children can visit an Instrument Petting Zoo from School of Rock.

The Kids’ Corner is open from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday and during Market hours Saturday and Sunday.

Local Music and Beer

Enjoy local music at the Market with live performances starting Friday night. Bands featured include Nick Gusman and The Coyotes, Riverbend, The Western Satellites, Karen Choi, Sweetie and the Toothaches and Boxcar. 


The craft beer and cocktail court returns with a few favorites, including StilL 630 Distillery, Rockwell Beer Co., Public House Brewing Company, Edelbrand Pure Distilling, and more. 


Market vendors include Missouri Wildflowers Nursery, Jenny Walker Jewelry, Anya’s Apothekere, Paper Loft Creations, Baetje Farms, The Blue Owl Bakery, and many more. All vendors who signed up for the 2020 Market, which was cancelled due to COVID-19, were invited to participate in 2021.

Health and Safety

Trash cans will be limited to the area near the Temporary Visitor Center in outdoor dining area only. No sorting of trash. Please take all refuse out with you when you leave.

Increased frequency and intensity of cleaning and disinfecting all high-touch surfaces (such as handrails, signage, seats, and benches) following CDC and EPA guidelines. Hours of operation have been reduced to include nightly and weekly deep cleaning.

Please follow appropriate social distancing restrictions of six feet or more from anyone not in your traveling party.

Additional hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the Garden, including all point-of-sale locations and strategically around Garden grounds.

Visitors displaying any of the following symptoms before visiting should stay home, including coughing, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell. Refunds and exchanges during this period will be honored without penalty.


Sick visitors

All staff working on Garden grounds will be screened prior to each shift. Employees will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire followed by a temperature check prior to the start of each shift. Only those staff who pass both the health screening questionnaire and temperature check will be allowed to enter the Garden and report for work.
